About the exam

CompTIA Network+ (N10-009)

Network+ validates the job-ready skills for building and supporting modern networks across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. The current version is N10-009 (the v9 blueprint), which replaced the older N10-008.

The format

The exam runs up to 90 questions in 90 minutes — budget about one minute per question. You'll see a mix of standard multiple-choice and performance-based questions (PBQs), which are interactive scenarios like matching protocols to ports or ordering troubleshooting steps. The passing score is 720 on a scale that runs from 100 to 900, and CompTIA recommends 9–12 months of hands-on networking experience going in.

How the domains are weighted

Five domains make up the exam. The weights matter for planning — Troubleshooting and Networking Concepts alone account for nearly half your score, so they earn the most study and lab time here.

How to use this console

The loop that works for Network+ is read → lab → quiz → PBQ. Read a lesson to build the concept, drill the related lab until it's automatic, then test yourself with weighted questions and mark which objectives still feel shaky. The dashboard tracks that objective by objective so you always know where to spend the next session.

Your progress is saved on this device only — there's no account and nothing to sign into. Always verify topics against the official CompTIA blueprint before exam day.
